There's no arguing that when it comes to your personal health & fitness, having a coach to work with one-on-one to address your unique body & goals helps you achieve the best results possible. Ironically, when you are so invested in improving something (as most dancers are with their bodies), you can get stuck in a narrow routine and focus that actually holds you back from leveling up. A personal coach helps you see those blind spots & guides you into the unknown. Because that's what progress is all about...moving into that next level that is unfamiliar, new, different from what you've been doing in the past.
Dancers are notorious for being stubborn and pride themselves on being in control & capable. With so much information out there on the internet, it's easy to fool yourself into thinking you're an expert on fitness and exercise just because you watch a few videos. But the reality is that as much as we want to feel independent, we can't do it alone. We all need help.
Not only does a good coach help you address those blind spots you are missing, they provide support and accountability on your journey. Being able to check in with someone who has your best interest in mind gives you the confidence to really attack your goals and feel confident in your plan of action. It's what helps you commit to the uncomfortable -- because you don't get results by doing the same things over and over again.
All that being said, having a personal coach might not be financially feasible for everyone's budget. Especially throughout the last year and a half, so many things have shifted for the dance world in terms of work and sources of income. It would be a tragedy if that strain inhibited your personal progress & ability to build a better version of yourself.
Because of these tough times, I'm offering new ways for us to work together. Along with Private Sessions, I'm now offering Semi-Privates ($45 per session) and Small Group Coaching ($35 per session) via Zoom and in-person in NYC. These options give you the advantage of getting the individual attention from a personal coach but with a more budget-friendly scenario. So, if you've been curious about my Bulletproof Ballerina training system but haven't been ready for private training, this is a great opportunity to try things out.
Speaking as a non-thoroughbred dancer, my training system & philosophy have changed my life...allowing me to enjoy a fulfilling dance career, even as someone who experienced so much insecurity & lack of confidence in my younger years. And I am passionate about sharing what I've learned with you. Hopefully these new options for training give me a chance to pass my secrets off to you.
We need hope now more than ever. And that hope comes from feeling like you can create change in your life. It's knowing you have the power to be better if you work hard enough and in the right way. That sense of power is what takes you from hopeless despair to boundless opportunities. Sometimes it just takes a little helping hand to guide you onto that path.
If you are interested in working with me one-on-one or in semi-private/small group settings, please reach out to me below. Let's work together to help you achieve your peak performance body!
*If you bring a friend/friends for a semi-private or small group session, your first training session will be complimentary! But, you also don't have to have a friend lined up to participate in this new opportunity. Just email me your interest, and I'll set things up from there!
